Anima Corpus IV: A Hybrid Body, Totem of Memory and Spirit

In Anima Corpus IV, Pascal Borghi presents a compelling sculpture that merges animality and humanity, inviting us to reflect on our origins and the memory of life itself. Crafted from stoneware, this slender figure, poised on a layered pedestal, commands attention through its noble bearing and enigmatic presence.

The animal-like head, reminiscent of a goat or bovine, rises above a bare, elongated torso—muscular yet almost ethereal. The balance is delicate: the slim, elegant silhouette is offset by the rough stoneware texture that evokes both skin and raw rock.
