Florence Cadène attended the Dupéré School of Applied Arts in Paris from which she graduated. In 1998 she held her first exhibition on the theme of animals, which became her favorite subject and earned her recognition in the world of art. Over the years she has explored the diversity of the animal world and has highlighted her commitment to the preservation of wild animal life. Florence Cadène tries to give back a soul to subjects already endowed with an intrinsic beauty, it is the manifestation of their being that matters and the link that unites us to them. The artist has been in Africa, in their natural environment, the animals she paints and this is certainly what touches us at first sight.

The gallery's words

I discovered Florence Cadène's work through a professional of art. The first work I saw was a panther lying on a branch. The natural and realistic pose of the animal appealed to me. I also appreciated the sobriety of the work on linen canvas respecting the animal and giving him the place/space it deserves.
